Powerful short film directed by Richard Farmer
Directed by Richard Farmer “Jane Lloyd” is a musically, driven short film, telling the life story of English-born Hollywood actress with 600 distinct shots centered around all the ways her name has ever been depicted, from cradle to gravestone.
The film documents Jane Lloyd’s wholesome childhood, swiftly unfolding in 1970’s England, only to become a faded memory once she arrives in Hollywood to pursue her dream of fame.
There, we join her on a classic “becoming Hollywood” journey, in search of the elusive castle in the clouds.
The film won Best Short Film at the BFI London Film Festival and Malibu International Film Festival.
